2-D Layout Design

Work on two-dimensional layout design began with CD (Collaborative Design), a limitedly-rational, cognitively plausible, FORR -inspired architecture for two-dimensional layouts. Its premise is that collaboration among multiple agents can produce aesthetically pleasing, algorithmically economical solutions. Each agent is responsible for the location and manipulation of a class of related objects.
